During the year 2002, as I completed my Jyotish Courses – Jyotish Praveen & Jyotish Visharad at the Indian Council of Astrological Sciences (ICAS), I felt a calling towards a unique path – reading horoscopes, not for humans, but for horses.
The Birth of A Journey
My journey started as I visited the Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai. While I stood by this grand racetrack and watching these horses showing their power and grace, one question arose in heart:
“Why can some horses be champions, while others remain ordinary?”
That question created a grand passion that led me towards intensive research for years in an area where nobody endeavored: that combined thoroughbred racing and vedic astrology.
The Birth of HAT THEORY
I did a deep analysis of horses, not through their pedigree or their physical traits – but through their horoscopes that encompass their time and date along with their place of birth. Using different Vedic formulas for astrological and planetary projections, I studied around 3 Lakhs horse charts.
That’s where I developed a grand system:

No Budget, No problem — Just the Stars
With almost zero funds for any elite yearlings, I explored my research for underperforming racehorses that directly fit my HAT theory.
My Research led me towards these horses: RAPIDE & TITIAN
Both were seen as liabilities by their owners. I bought them at a modest price. I renamed RAPIDE to Laurus Pride.
And then?
They gave me 9 wins and 20 places in 3 years (2010–2013) — surprising everyone.
The Rise of My “Fabulous Five”
After this period, everything changed.
ZORAAVAR
Bought from Poonawalla Stud Farm in 2013, he was the last and only standout from 30 yearlings – chosen through HAT theory.
Result: 4 complete wins and places 10 times.
HIROHAMA
Chosen from Country Stud Farm Jaipur, a filly from around 20 prospects. She got the real champion traits.
Result: 4 complete wins that includes a race placing of multi-millions.
SACRED FIRE
Chosen from the Usha Stud Gurugram, this filly actually was an emerging star.
Result: A bright win before a major and unfortunate journey during the time of Bangalore Derby.
The five – Zoraavar, Lauras Pride, Titian, Sacred Fire and Hirohama – have been my Fabulous Five.
Each horse was chosen through Vedic Astrology. Each can provide their worth for the track.
